Welcome, readers... This issue brings us near a full year of the "What's Up This Week" column! Thanks to Mr. Fraser Cain of the "Universe Today", this on-going series has become wonderfully successful and I love hearing from each and everyone of you. Your ideas, encouragement and just plain "thanks" are so welcome... If time will allow, I am working to make this into an e.book for 2006 and I hope we'll be able to go even further with our observing and learning sessions!
Are you fascinated by stars, comets, planets, and other celestial bodies you can glimpse in the night sky? Many aspiring astronomers start out at home, in their own backyard. It is possible to observe quite a lot about our solar system using basic telescopes or even the naked eye, but there are also many tools that can help you identify what you’re seeing and learn more about what’s out there.

By faith we understand that the universe was created by God's command, so that what is seen has been made from things that are not visible
